This feature allows you to seamlessly connect Softr to your existing data sources, such as Airtable or Gsheets, and generate an app for easy browsing, viewing, editing, and adding data.

Head to Softr dashboard, where you will see a new app creation option: Generate from data.

Step 1: Connect your data source

Currently available for Airtable and Gsheets

Step 2: Select the base/document for which you want to generate an application.

Step 3: Select which tables/sheets to create pages in your application.

Step 4: Sync your application users (optional)

To speed up the setup, you can sync your list of people who will be app users right away. If you’re not ready to do that yet, you can set it up later in the application User settings.

Step 5: Generate the app 🙌 

Once an app is generated, among other generated things, pages for selected tables will get created. Preview the result and customize it further.
